Description
The advice at https://irc-bot-science.clsr.net, which concerns specifically IRC bots that fetch Web pages' titles, may be relevant even at the bot framework level. In particular, the advice regarding CTCP messages suggests to me restricting the sending of CTCP messages to trusted input.
