Bug: Can't paste text into clients (Linux AppImage)

What happened?

For some reason, I have never been able to successfully paste text into any Archipelago Client on Fedora/Bazzite (except while using web browser). Pasting works on MacOS clients.

What were the expected results?

When the input box at the bottom is selected, pressing Ctrl-V (or even Ctrl-Shift-V like in system terminal) pastes the text currently in the clipboard into said input box. Command-V works on MacOS clients, and Ctrl-X correctly 'cuts' from the input box on Bazzite, but Ctrl-V does nothing.

interesting. linux clipboard issues have come up several times over the past couple of years, and it doesn't happen for me anymore on EndeavourOS.
