I'm looking forward to that too.
In my case, I have to use socket.io 1.x,but it looks like Atmosphere only support version 0.98 or older?

Any update on this? Is atmosphere-socketio (latest version 2.6.5) compatible with the socket.io-client 2.4.0 or later versions?
