Debug Flag Investigation

Investigate existing debug code in 3.2.4 branch to determine which flag controls debug output, and document or comment findings (including how to control the flag) for Nihal and team.

This flag should and will be turned off in Alpha

There is no single global debug flag. The debug output is controlled based on per-file or per-class. These are the following debug patterns:

1. $debug local variable — most common pattern

2. Class-level $debugMode / $debug properties

• classes/ImageExplorer.php — private $debug = FALSE; (line 5). Enable by flipping the property.
• games/where/classes/GamesWhereManager.php — private $debugMode = 0; (line 11). Enable via setDebugMode(true).
• classes/MediaResolutionTools.php — private $debugMode = false; (line 29). Set internally in archiveImageFiles().

3. const DEBUG class constant

• classes/OmOccurrences.php (line 23) — const DEBUG = true;
  • Currently true but not referenced anywhere in the class.

4. Laravel API debug

• api/.env — APP_DEBUG=false. Set to true to enable Laravel/Lumen debug output.
