Hot Water Heating Circulation

Hi,

i would like to get Hot Water Heating Circulation to run.
Before i had implemented it in fhem.
Is ist somehow possible with you Project?

I'm on the same situation and need a function to control the pump. But unfortunately I've no clue how to do that because the heatpump itself controls the pump

I've created a PR #350 which adds ventilation option. It adds three additional entities: 1 Switch for ventilation activating, 1 Switch for selecting the HUP (heating circulation pump) and 1 number entity for changing the ventilation time (1...6 hours).

If you want to activate the ventilation, you have to switch in the following order:

• Number ventilation time (Hours)
• Switch ventilation HUP=ON
• Switch ventilation active=ON

Note:
The switches must be aktivated within several seconds otherwise the ventilation doesn't start.

I don't get the circulation pump started. I activate the switches in the order described. How do I start the Number Ventilation Time switch? Do I enter a number of hours and confirm?

One Question to this topic:
If I try to activate the circulation pump using the steps described, the status of the circulation pump should change to "in operation," right?

Also, is the entity activated automatically? I have to activate the entity manually first.

Is everything working ok? If yes, can you then close this discussion?
Or is there a need to keep it open?

With PR #350 everything is working as expected.

2. I don't have the switches (since I don't have a air heatpump). Could some provide a screenshot of the switches and the sensor which shows of ventilation is running so I can add it to the documentation?

I have those switches, too. However, I suspect they control the heating circulation and not the domestic hot water circulation. The switches can also be found under "Heating."

That's right. The switches above control the heating circulation if HUP is active.

OK, I don't need this function . The circulation of the heating water can be started or paused at any time using pump optimization. I would like to manually activate the circulation for domestic water when I need it. I usually deactivate it during the day. Now, when I'm home and suddenly need hot water, I'd like to turn on the domestic water circulation.
