Changelog

All notable changes to the ComfyUI Backup Script will be documented in this file.

[1.0.1] - 2025-12-02

Fixed

  • Git Repository Persistence: Fixed robocopy /MIR flag deleting .git folder on subsequent backups. Added /XD .git to preserve Git repository across backup runs.
  • Git Log Display: Fixed Git commit history not showing in ListBackups mode. Git log output now properly captured and displayed.

Changed

  • Interactive Menus: RunBackup.bat and QuickRestore.bat now loop back to menu after operations instead of exiting. Added explicit "Exit" option.
  • README Updates: Highlighted RunBackup.bat as the primary/recommended interface for most users. Added visual menu example and benefits.

  • Test Suite: Created comprehensive test plan (TEST_PLAN.md) with 35 test cases
  • Test Scripts:
    • Run-Tests.ps1 - Automated test script
    • QuickTest.ps1 - Quick validation script
    • CreateMockData.ps1 - Mock data generator for testing
  • Test Results: Documented all test results in TEST_RESULTS.md (8/8 tests passed)
