While editing a document I would like an area where there can be a discussion about the document so that editors and approvers etc. can discuss things and ask questions so that way it is kept with the document history and revisions can be explained as well. Quick example would be a bullet point list vs a table and which would look better here etc.
Describe the benefits this would bring to existing BookStack users
This would benefit users by giving a place to discuss documents where the users cannot see. They do not need to know why a section was removed etc. Or if it is something like discussing who should have access to this or why a permission was granted to a user etc. That should be documented inside the document so when someone comes along and asks, it's right there.
Can the goal of this request already be achieved via other means?
I do not believe this can be achieved by other means WITHIN the platform. You would need to go outside of the platform to do this which is not ideal.
Have you searched for an existing open/closed issue?
I have searched for existing issues and none cover my fundamental request
How long have you been using BookStack?
