What happened?

Many apps, with few exceptions, refused to install.

Description

After seeing that the majority of apps wouldn't install, I eventually decided to read what was shown in the Terminal after a dozen or so failures. I noticed that one of the repositories that I'd added earlier had been mentioned each time. The repository was unrelated to both the pi-apps app or any of the apps that I'd unsuccessfully tried to install via pi-apps.
I noticed that I'd made a typo in the repository, so corrected it in sources.list using nano.
This correction in unrelated app's repo fixed in-app installation issues: all previously uninstallable apps via pi-apps could now easily install.

Thought I'd post this as it might help others who might be having difficulties.
