After commit f39262d, the official build of yass will exit at once if homebrew is detected to pirate yass. If you are one of homebrew users failing to remove it, you are still lucky to use versions prior to commit f39262d or use cmake to build it from source by hand. For the later, it will simply raise some warnings but it is harmless.

TL'DR yass is no longer working if you get homebrew installed in your mac and cannot remove it.
