Additional project and show-file folders/URL?

Just started with FreeShow, thanks for amazing work!

To extend the "cloud-sync",
would it be possible to add an option to specify additional folders or even URLS (Maybe even webdav?) for show and project json-files? This would make it possible to keep some shows and projects local, and sync some across computers and other users, for example using Nextcloud. For my own use case I would like to automatically generate some show and project files using scripts, preferably keeping them separate from FreeShow-generated files, but visible and usable in the GUI without manual import. (Read only would be fine in this manner...)

An other alternative could be to let the user set the planner api-url, but that would mean the user has to create/self-host rest endpoints on his own.

Thank you! You can go to settings>Other to change the data path, and turn on "Save user settings at 'Data location'". This will allow you to use any custom sync with the computers file system, or do whatever you would like with the data files.

Thanks for the reply. I am aware of that option, but it still doesn't address my issue.
To rephrase - let's say you have several groups in your organization, each preparing their own shows and projects on their own computers. Then all of them would have to work on the same synced data-folder, with full access. Being able to specify additional data-folders for shows and projects would make it possible for the presenter to get shows from everyone, but in a cleaner way - without possible file conflicts or having to manually import.

Okay, so multiple data folders. I suppose you can have different folders and change data the folders manually, but I guess it might be good to allow multiple user profiles in that case, each pointing to different data locations!?

Yes, multiple folders but with their data merged internally by FreeShow I was thinking, not different profiles ( although that could be an idea also). But let's say you have a speaker providing a show, and a band providing their songs/shows. They prepare them at home. When the service is due, these will be synced to separate folders on the presenter-PC, but read into the same running FreeShow-instance.

Got it. That can work for shows, but not other data like projects. I will see what I do about this.
