Stage View Causes Output TV Lag During Bible Navigation (v1.6.2-beta.2)

Hello FreeShow Team,

Description:

After updating to FreeShow v1.6.2-beta.2, I noticed a performance issue related to Stage View.

When Stage View is enabled, the Output TV becomes noticeably slower and less responsive during Bible navigation. Selecting Bible books, chapters, or verses causes a visible delay before the Output TV updates.

After testing multiple times, I found that disabling Stage View immediately restores normal performance and responsiveness.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open FreeShow v1.6.2-beta.2.
2. Enable Stage View.
3. Open the Bible panel.
4. Select a Bible book, chapter, or verse.
5. Observe the Output TV update speed.
6. Disable Stage View and repeat the same actions.

Expected Behavior:
Output TV should update instantly regardless of whether Stage View is enabled.

Actual Behavior:
When Stage View is enabled, Output TV updates more slowly and slide transitions appear delayed. The delay is especially noticeable during Bible navigation.

Additional Notes:

• Reproducible consistently.
• The issue disappears when Stage View is disabled.
• Most noticeable when navigating Bible books, chapters, and verses.
• Screen recording attached.

System Information:

• FreeShow v1.6.2-beta.2
• Stage View enabled
• Output TV connected

It seems like it has the same delay when you don't have the stage display also?

If you try the default scripture template, does that work better? My guess is that it's just the auto size needing time to calculate, so if you turn off the auto size on the template it should be instant..

I was already using Auto Size in FreeShow 1.4.9 with the same scripture template, and there was no noticeable delay when navigating Bible books or verses.

The delay only became noticeable after updating to newer versions, especially in v1.6.2-beta.2.

I will still test with the default scripture template and with Auto Size disabled, but based on my experience, Auto Size itself did not cause this behavior in v1.4.9.

This makes me think there may have been a performance regression in a newer version.

I can confirm that I did not notice this delay in FreeShow v1.4.9 using the same computer and the same scripture template with Auto Size enabled.

I first noticed the issue after updating to newer versions, and it is clearly noticeable in v1.6.2-beta.2.

Unfortunately, I don't know the exact version where the regression started, since I upgraded through multiple versions.
