Display issues of landing gears & ducts

May I ask if the landing gear components can be displayed? Why in the case I found, only the wheels of the landing gear components can be shown, while the other parts are not?

Hi @lin22-hub,

CPACS itself is a data model, so it does not have visualization capabilities. However, I think you are referring to TiGL, our standard library for geometry visualization. Currently, TiGL does not provide visualization for landing gears. When you open some CPACS files, you sometimes see dummy fuselage elements that are used to model landing gear.

yes, TiGL has a duct functionality built in. Could you maybe provide a minimal example in which you are trying to model ducts?

You can define ducts and see them in the TiGLViewer as follows:

1. Define ducts as in the following example:

Note in particular the definition of duct assemblies and how it is done here.

2. Open the TiGLViewer and open your corrected files. In the taskbar on the top, click on DRAW, then on AIRCRAFT and then you can select SHOW THE COMPLETE AIRCRAFT WITH DUCT CUTOUTS.

This should work.
