v2.EventsApi missing createEvent and EventsApiCreateEventRequest #1941

Describe the bug
The EventsApi in version 1.30.0 appears to be missing functionality from https://docs.datadoghq.com/api/latest/events/, specifically creating events.

Property 'createEvent' does not exist on type 'EventsApi'. [2339]
.../node_modules/@datadog/datadog-api-client/dist/packages/datadog-api-client-v2/index"' has no exported member named 'EventsApiCreateEventRequest'. Did you mean 'EventsApiListEventsRequest'? [2724]

To Reproduce

  1. In a new node ts project, install the package with npm install @datadog/datadog-api-client
  2. Add the code https://datadoghq.dev/datadog-api-client-typescript/classes/v2.EventsApi.html
    in a new typescript file
  3. You should see the errors mentioned above

Expected behavior
I expect the createEvent method and EventsApiCreateEventRequest type to exist, or the documentation to be updated if they have been removed from the package.

Environment and Versions (please complete the following information):

  • node: v22.9.0
  • ts: v5.1.6
  • @datadog/datadog-api-client: 1.30.0

Hi @luigi-dius,

Thank you for reporting this issue!
The missing functionality you described has been addressed in a pull request I submitted. It introduces the createEvent method and the EventsApiCreateEventRequest type to the v2.EventsApi ;]
