can't dualtask general drops #607
Comments
sorry if i didnt follow some rule this is my first time uploading a github issue |
works fine for me. no idea why didnt registered that watched time with the general stuff. |
Hello,
This could be because the Twitch drops FAQ clearly states, that only one drops campaign can be progressed at a time: https://help.twitch.tv/s/article/mission-based-drops?language=en_US#troubleshooting This means that watching a particular streamer, that already has a campaign with their channel being on the ACL, will progress their specific campaign instead. The general campaign without an ACL will only be progressed after the specific campaign finishes. At least that's what the FAQ explains. Are you able to somehow progress both campaigns when watching the stream normally? If not, there isn't anything I can do here. |
sorry, completely forgot about this thread: general drops are progressed when watching any streamer in the category, usually, this means that you can progress streamer specific drops while also progressing the general drops; without the miner. i let the miner run and it completed 16 hours worth of drops but the general drops are at less than 2: |
So, it works then? As I said above, Twitch should let you progress both at the same time, as the miner will prioritize ACL campaigns (tied to particular streamers) over the general drops campaign that can be progressed by all channels. This is often what the user wants, but not always (see #645). If it doesn't progress both campaigns at the same time, despite watching a channel that's applicable to both: ACL and non-ACL campaigns, then there's nothing I can do about it. If it does progress both campaigns, then there's nothing to do for me as well, as it works as intended. I guess I'm closing this one for now. |

really awesome but doesn't seem to be able to mine general drops (drops that come from all streamers in a certain category)
