Impact on context is huge

After installing this, my MCP context usage almost tripled with claude code. The various slash commands are huge with tons of unnecessary context that gets loaded automatically. I recommend you slim those down and perhaps implement some skills that only load front matter into context until they are needed.

Tool Filtering Now Available

This concern has been addressed with a new tool filtering feature that can reduce context overhead by up to ~70%.

Configuration (via .env)

# Enable tool filtering (disabled by default)
TOOLS_FILTER_ENABLED=true

# Choose a profile:
TOOLS_FILTER_PROFILE=minimal  # Options: full, core, minimal, messaging, custom

Profiles

• full: All tools (default, no filtering)
• core: Essential tools (identity, messaging, file_reservations, macros)
• minimal: Bare minimum (6 tools: health_check, ensure_project, register_agent, send_message, fetch_inbox, acknowledge_message)
• messaging: Messaging-focused (identity, messaging, contact clusters)
• custom: Define your own include/exclude lists

Custom Filtering
