v1.5.8 New Game+ and Entrance Randomizer improvements

Installation Instructions

Download the DeusEx.u file and put it in your game's System directory, which is probably C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Deus Ex\System (make a backup of the original DeusEx.u)

If the game is not running well for you, see the recommended tweaks at the bottom of the README.

As usual, you will still be able to load your old saved games with this new version.

Changes

• New Game+ now takes away an augmentation, a weapon, half of your skill points, and 5 random skill levels

• Fixed doors and elevators getting stuck on items

• Fixed vanilla bug where patrolling characters could crash the game

• Rearranged Levels has been renamed to Entrance Randomization in order to match the terminology of randomizers for other games

• Entrance Randomization fixes for mission 6

• Fixed the retinal scanner at the bottom of Unatco HQ

• Added a crate in mission 2 so you don't get stuck

• Medbots and Repair Bots are now ignored by enemies

• Small improvements for randomizing the location of keys that were in corpses

• Fixed nanokeys having an unintentionally low chance of staying in the vanilla location

• Fixed challenge mode loadouts (like Stick With the Prod Plus, or Ninja JC) not destroying items properly

• Fixed Stanton Dowd not wanting to talk to you

• Small improvement to rounding of door strength display

• Small music fixes for mission 8
