CDateTime with style CDT.SPINNER is not displayed correctly on linux

widget = new CDateTime(c, CDT.BORDER | CDT.COMPACT | CDT.SPINNER | CDT.DATE_SHORT);

With style CDT.SPINNER

Without style CDT.SPINNER

I did some investigation, but this seems to be a tricky problem.

If the background color of the CDateTime widgets Text control is set, the widget is displayed correctly. So the reason seems to be an artifact of rendering happening before.

I could not find a clean solution for this.

Workaround is setting the background of the CDateTime. That is also happening in the example by using the css styling.
