richardson_option???

In v1 TSM constant.py file there is a "Temperature" class and "DEFAULT_TEMPERATURE" argument for "richardson_option". This option does not appeared to be used for any logic in the v1 TSM processes.py file. @ptomasula, can you please check if this argument is needed for v2?

Confirmed that I have observed the same behavior as you. There is a richardson_option that can be set in V1 constants, but I see no reference to it in the actual calculation logic. Perhaps it was intended for a feature that was never developed? We appear to have implemented the sensible flux as noted in the paper, so I'm inclined to leave this field out for now.

@aufdenkampe, do you know anything about the history of the richardson_option in V1?

I don't know, but if it is not in v1, then it is a low priority for us to add in v2. I agree that we should just leave it out for now.

If @BillyEJohnson or @TSteissberg think it's important to track for future work, we could rename this issue to "Implement Richardson_option" and give it a back burner tag. Otherwise close.

I don't recall that option so unless @TSteissberg thinks we should implement it in the future then I would close it.
