Is this a BUG REPORT or a FEATURE REQUEST?
BUG REPORT
EdgeTX Version:
v2.12.0-RC3 (Queen Anne’s Revenge)
RadioMaster Model:
RadioMaster TX15 (TX15 series)
ELRS Version:
v4.0.0 (ISM, 100Hz Packet Rate)
Description:
After updating to EdgeTX v2.12 RC3 and ELRS v4.0.0, I experienced severe throttle instability. When moving the throttle stick, the motor rotation is intermittent (starts and stops repeatedly).
Steps to Reproduce:
Flash EdgeTX v2.12 RC3.
Update ELRS Internal TX and ER8 RX to v4.0.0.
Configure "Arming Using" to 'Switch' (due to ELRS 4.0 changes) or use CH5 for other purposes.
Attempt to operate the throttle; the motor output is inconsistent/stutters.
Actual Behavior:
The throttle signal seems to be interrupted or suffers from timing jitter, causing the motor to stutter or stop unexpectedly during operation.
Expected Behavior:
The throttle should be smooth and consistent across the entire range, as it was in previous versions.
Additional Context:
The issue was resolved immediately after rolling back the EdgeTX firmware to the Factory Firmware (c3fa1962) while keeping ELRS at v4.0.0.
This suggests a potential regression or communication timing issue between EdgeTX v2.12 RC3 and the ELRS v4.0.0 protocol.
Receiver used: RadioMaster ER8 (PWM).
Packet Rate: 100Hz (ISM).
