First: Thank you for the code and making the exe available for those who don't have the ability or understanding to compile the code.
Thank you for the link to the documentation regarding the proprietary ms format.
I have no idea or understanding of why Microsoft would create a proprietary format for this - given that there are so many image formats out there and they are all pretty wonderful and almost everyone on the web has a clue what they are and the tools to work with them.
Of course given their Windows 10 UBreakItDate .. maybe it follows the logic ..
