Where are the lists stored? #183
|
First of all, thank you for this awesome plugin. I had been using a simple little Javascript script to do this but I love all the features of the extension. I have a quick question. I wanted to know where the lists are stored that I create. I didn't consider needing to export them to save them so I lost them when I reloaded an old Win10 image. But I did backup the image where BulkURLOpener was installed with those lists and have access to all of the files from that OS image through Macrium Reflect. I was hoping to find them and copy/paste on the current image I am using, rather than having to restore the backup image to export them, and then having to restore the current image I am using to import them. If it's not possible, I understand and will end up reloading but I was trying to save myself a lot of time with the copy/paste method. Please advise, and thank you for your help! |

Hi, I am glad that you have found the extension useful, it is always great to hear when people find it useful. The lists for the extension are stored in the browsers local stroage. So unfortunately I do not think that it will be possible to retrieve the lists from the old image without restoring and then exporting the lists from the settings. |

Thanks for the quick reply. I thought this might be the case as I was poking around the image yesterday.
I’ll certainly remember to export next time!
I appreciate the help.
