HTML to Video

Ok very new to gstreamer world. This is a very cool tool!
I would like very much to do HTML overlays with this.

It seems I need "wpesrc"

It this possible?
BTW I am now using the windows install 😄 But I would be using docker if this works.

Thanks for building this, I have always wanted to get into the gstreamer world and been in FFMPEG only and this lowers the bar of entry....

Yes, wpesrc or similar overlay functions are on my roadmap.. I think you can expect to see updates with some overlays fairly soon. I think it will be part of the docker builds as standard. We'll see.

There is already NDI support, see scripts/ndi.

But you are refering to NDI discovery missing in particular?

I just looked at the docs folder, the road map for this is awesome!
On the NDI, yeah this is a discovery question. Some method of selecting NDI sources from a discovery list. I have it working by manual entry. But maybe I am missing something.

The road map is not really set, it's more of a document of suggestions. :)

No, the discovery part was probably left out in the first iteration. Please open a new issue feature request on that, since this one is about HTML render

Nice! I now have the docker containerrunning as of last week. I saw that there was no NDI in that docker "full" release. Is it there now?
I will start to open individual issues now as I look at this more.

No, due to the licensing of NDI SDK, strom will not have pre built NDI plugins or docker images including NDI. The user needs to opt-in and agree to the license of NDI.

The scripts/setup folder is included in the docker image, so I would suggest maybe running the NDI scripts on the docker host, build the plugins there and then exposing them into the docker image with volumes.
