Since the application hasn't been updated in some time and there are a lot of mentions of broken sites, it might be better to have an overview of sites that are actually (still) working.

I don't know of any site(s) that are still working. Do you guys perhaps know which ones still work?

As you have noticed, I haven't worked on this project for a pretty long time now. Most of the sites being mentioned broken are due them using the Cloudflare bot protection service which I haven't found a reliable way to bypass. Nothing to do about that really, which is why I lost interest in the project.

I don't have a list of sites still working (implementing automatic tests from the start would have been a smart idea, sorry). The only site which I actually used NG for was/is RoyalRoad which still works.
Also the manual grabbing still works of course, so you might be able to grab from broken sites with some testing.

What!!!!!!!
This is the best project I have ever used and you telling me you lost interest!! that a sad note to see.
any way I hope the best for you.

The manual used to work with the website I use but now gives me this error

Retrieving links from: https://kolnovel.com/series/martial-god-asura/
[ERROR]Forbidden! (403)
0 links retrieved.

any Advice?

Forbidden (403) mostly means the request is being blocked by Cloudflare bot protection.

Doesn't the application run web-view-engine (maybe use cef?) in the background, if it does should be easy to bypass(at least those when it doesn't require manual input) cloudflare, like I did in my application. This was once my goto application for fanfic download, but lack of updates & well, java(me a C# guy, so can't contribute either) forced me to develop my own solution. I hope someone revives this.

I find that https://readnovelfull.com and https://www.novelhall.com are both good. Novel hall has more novels but also has a lot of errors in some of them. I have found no issues with novels on readnovelfull but there are less novels.
