How to get the proxy address set by the application in the plugin

I want to get the proxy settings information that the user has set in the app in my plugin and apply it to the http request of my plugin.

That's not currently available unfortunately. A work around is to read/parse the user's settings file. We are having some discussions about exposing these settings via APi.
