My modded wii u was working fine a week ago. Yesterday, when I tried booting it up, I could not get any signal from my tv and my gamepad was not connecting either (the gamepad was turning on though). I tested it out with multiple display outputs and hdmi cables yet nothing worked. Additionally, I cleaned the hdmi with rubbing alcohol and still got no results. I then tried the recovery menu while using a modded nintendo switch following the instructions as listed on the udphi github. After, I watched a youtube video and perfectly mirrored the eject and power button inputs needed to navigate the recovery menu with no display. I also made sure to use the dc_init file for the recovery menu which was recommended on the recovery menu readme for wii u's with not signal output. However, I realized that the first time I accessed the recovery menu, I think that I may have accidently installed the Japanese system files. Am I cooked?
