Even so, the provider doesn't change, can somebody help me?

OpenRouter is supported through the existing OpenAI-compatible path.

Use /provider -> OpenAI-compatible, set base URL to https://openrouter.ai/api/v1, add your OpenRouter API key, set a valid OpenRouter model ID such as google/gemini-2.0-flash-001 or openai/gpt-5-mini, then restart OpenClaude.

One easy gotcha: inside /provider it is still grouped under OpenAI-compatible, so the label may stay generic there instead of literally changing to OpenRouter.

To verify what actually loaded, check the startup banner or run bun run doctor:runtime and confirm:

• OPENAI_BASE_URL=https://openrouter.ai/api/v1
• OPENAI_MODEL=<your chosen model>

If it still does not switch, you likely already have provider env vars set in your shell overriding the saved profile. Paste the doctor output here with secrets redacted and we can narrow it down.
