Improve throughput of catcher thread on hera-sn1 #51
Description
We are running at the edge of our throughput on hera-sn1. We had to increase PACKET_DELAY_NS to avoid dropping packets in the catcher thread when recording data. It is unclear why this should be, since throttling the transmission shouldn't help if we have a disk throughput problem. In any case, we need to improve the catcher throughput dramatically in order to be able to keep up with array expansion.
