hs.noises - add own detectors

I see there are 2 buildin types of noises with the hs.noises:
a) ssss (start/end)
b) lips pop

I would like to have it configurable so I can add own detectors?

Make this sence to change it in a way that a user can add own detectors?

I guess the setup for a detector can be more abstract?

local clapDetector = hs.noises.detector.new(clapDetectData)
hs.noises.addDetector(clapDetector)
