Mobile Navigation Menu Does Not Open and Has Low Visibility on Website

• I made a backup of my libraries before testing the latest development version.
• I have tested the latest development version and the problem persists

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

Open https://www.jabref.org/ on a mobile device.
Tap the hamburger/menu icon in the top navigation bar.
Observe that the menu items briefly blink/flash but the navigation menu does not expand or become visible.
Additionally, the menu icon itself has low visibility and can be difficult to notice against the page background.

Expected behaviour

Tapping the menu icon should open the navigation menu and display all available navigation options.
The menu icon should be clearly visible and accessible on mobile devices.

Actual behaviour

The menu items briefly blink when the menu icon is tapped, but the navigation menu does not open.
Navigation options remain inaccessible on mobile devices.
The menu icon has low contrast/visibility, making it harder to discover.
