Unlimited loop while nesting

I have meet this s/w today.

I tried to nesting by my dxf file

S/W has started nesting (maybe simulating) but, not display result.

only unlimited loop circulation nesting.

my process has below,

1, import data

2, define quantities

3, start nest

4, check 'sheet' option

5, start nest

→ no result, loop continue....

how can i fix it?

I found the issue! The "Start Nest" button keeps spinning because of browser security errors with Web Workers.

The Problem: The console shows hundreds of these errors:

Failed to construct 'Worker': Script at 'file:///C:/Users/HERZOMJ/repos/GitHub/SVGNest/SVGnest/util/eval.js' cannot be accessed from origin 'null'.

Why this happens: SVGnest relies heavily on Web Workers for its nesting algorithm calculations. However, browsers block Web Workers when you open HTML files directly from the file system (file:// protocol) for security reasons. This is called a CORS (Cross-Origin Resource Sharing) restriction.

The Solution - Run a Local Web Server:

You need to serve the application through a local web server instead of opening index.html directly. Here are your options:

Option 1: Using Python (if installed):

cd C:\Users\HERZOMJ\repos\GitHub\SVGNest\SVGnest
python -m http.server 8000

Then open: http://localhost:8000

Option 2: Using Node.js (if installed):

cd C:\Users\HERZOMJ\repos\GitHub\SVGNest\SVGnest
npx http-server -p 8000

Then open: http://localhost:8000

Option 3: Using Visual Studio Code: Install the "Live Server" extension in VS Code, then right-click index.html and select "Open with Live Server"

Option 4: Using Chrome with disabled security (not recommended for regular browsing): Close all Chrome windows, then run:

chrome.exe --allow-file-access-from-files

Then open your index.html

To check what's happening in the future: Always open the browser's Developer Console (F12) and look at the Console tab for errors. The repeated SecurityError messages clearly indicate the Web Worker issue.

Once you run it through a web server, the nesting algorithm will work properly and you'll see progress bars and results.
