[BUG] UXTU crashes shortly after opening

Describe the bug
UXTU crashes shortly after opening. The main window opens, I can see the home page, then it switches to the adaptive page, where adaptive appears disabled, as I can see the button to turn it on, and then it crashes. I am assuming that it happens when it tries to turn on adaptive.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

1. start UXTU

Expected behaviour
UXTU runs in the background in Adaptive mode, managing my CPU's power consumption, etc.

• OS Version: Windows 10 Pro 22H2, buiuld 19045.5487
• Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19061.1000.0
• Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor 3.40 GHz
• Installed RAM: 64.0 GB

Additional context
It worked fine after initial installation, but Windows Update ran and installed several fixes, updates and new drivers.
CCleaner says all drivers are up to date.
