Issue reported to me and unable to test as I have a two lens iPhone with no issues, 3 lens iPhones use the bottom lens. The camera image shows but it never registers a scan. However, if they cover the top two lenses with their fingers then the scan will go through instantly. I'm not sure if it's a focusing issue or what could be the cause.

I had reported a similar issue and it was due to deprecated code when selecting the camera. Did you try version 8.0.0.1? It should be fixed in that.

Can confirm, I got the latest version of this package up and running yesterday and it works perfect on my iPhone 15 Pro with 3 lenses. The ZXing based barcode scanners were not working. This was the third barcode scanner I tried and it works very well. No focus issues on the newer iPhones! Great work @JimmyPun610, this is huge.
