How is the table created in the demo? I am seeing elements in a column

In following the tutorial I see that the resulting ToDo list is in a table, which is what we want.

In my implementation the Item elements are in a column, one below the other. Tried different approaches but could not get a "table".

Q: What is the approach to creating the table view?

not strictly a table but can achieve similar views is to use CSS grid on a fx-repeatitem

if using fx-repeat you'll get a fx-repeatitem wrapper for each 'row' then add something like

#my-repeat fx-repeatitem{
  display:grid;
  grid-template-columns:repeat(5, 1fr);
}

to your CSS - above assumes 5 fields to be in a row.

With more advanced grid trickery you can also manage to have a header.

Anyway - this one only for completeness - tables still have their justification and if it's a table use data-ref as suggested in the examples.
