[Kavita] Compress large pages while caching comics

Idea Description

I have some super large comic files, approximately 50MB per page, mostly scanner-generated hi-dpi images. They hold significant value for collectors, but they also take a huge amount of time to open, transfer a lot of network traffic hosting through the internet, and consume a lot of storage space under /var/lib/kavita/config/cache.
So I'm wondering if it would be possible to add options to set a maximum page size limit and performance options like compression quality, thread usage and so on.

Your cache folder should be getting emptied out at midnight your time as long as the server is running. You can also control this time by adjusting the Cleanup option in the server settings under tasks.

As for the bandwidth aspect that might be able to be accomplished down the line if the image transcoding feature comes to fruition.

Does that mean the image transcoding feature is already in development? That's such great news to me! Where can I go to stay updated on the progress?
