My journey to Kites was just as close as a distance to a WhatsApp status. I happened to see a poster of Rang, the virtual youth festival conducted by Kites shared by my friend, Anagha K H, who is also a member of the Kites' director board, and ended up participating in it. But what attracted me the most when I participated in Rang was the teamwork of Kites to conduct a youth festival successfully despite the difficult times of the pandemic. And one day, very unexpectedly, Anagha invited me to be a content writer in Kites. As for me, this was the first such opportunity I have ever got even though writing has always been a friend of mine. Hence, I became a part of the Kites' media team. And now it's been ten months since my words have found a place in the Kites' projects.
<br> <br> I have not met the majority of members of the Kites but I am closer to them more than with those I have an acquaintance with in person. The unique sight of humans with different perspectives and talents joining together with one emotion, Kites! After becoming a media team member, I have had chances of engaging in various discussions and, as a result, have developed different stands regarding some of the social issues. The insights which I have now while approaching a social issue are gifted by these discussions.
<br> <br> Kites, as for me, has always been a space I love a lot. My love for Kites itself is my energy to continue working here. Tomorrow, if ever I would get a chance to be a part of any small change, then I would like to start it from here.
