Installation fails with error 500

After uploading all the files to my server on a dedicated domain (no subfolder for the install), I can access the installation page but when clicking next, when the app tries to access "/db" it fails with an error 500. The PHP logs show this error : "AH00124: Request exceeded the limit of 10 internal redirects due to probable configuration error. Use 'LimitInternalRecursion' to increase the limit if necessary. Use 'LogLevel debug' to get a backtrace."

All prerequisites are met, and all dependencies are available according to the app setup screen.

I have tried flushing the server and doing the install all over again, and installing a previous version. Nothing worked for now.
