Syntax highlighting color settings for global variables

I just switched from version 2.3.7 to 3.2.2

2.3.7 showed global variables in white/grey color, and locals in lightblue.
3.2.2 shows both in lightblue.

Is there a way to change color for global variables back to grey/something else in 3.2.2?

I sometimes forget the "local" declaration for variables and I need that color coding to spot these errors quickly.
