If you have mapped the retirement to a playbook that deletes the VM and it's not running and/or not deleting the VM, then I'd consider this a bug. Can you please open a bug ticket with as much details you can give us? |

Hi @Fryguy I overlooked the output. The "name" parameter is empty, and that's why the VM was not deleted. Few Questions:

I have created a catalog item of type "Ansible playbook" which deploys a VM on VMWare Infrastructure. After requesting this, a VM is created and the service is successfully marked as provisioned.
Note:
I have a playbook to delete the VM and have mapped it to the catalog item retirement. With this I assume that the VM is deleted once we retire the service.
But the newly created VM is not linked to the service created, so when I retire the service it does not delete the VM created by the service.
Could someone please guide
