Getting Started

  1. Fork the Eco-Exchange repository to your own GitHub account.
  2. Clone the forked repository to your local machine.
  3. Open the project in your favorite IDE.

Making Changes

  1. Make your changes to the code in your local copy of the repository.
  2. Commit your changes to your local copy of the repository.
  3. Push your changes to your forked repository on GitHub.
  4. Create a pull request to merge your changes into the main Eco-Exchange repository.

Submitting Pull Requests

  1. When you are ready to submit your changes, click the "New Pull Request" button in the GitHub UI.
  2. In the pull request, provide a brief description of your changes and why you are making them.
  3. Click the "Create Pull Request" button to submit your changes for review.

Code Review

Once you have submitted a pull request, the project maintainers will review your changes. They may ask you to make additional changes before merging your changes into the main repository.

Merging Changes

Once your changes have been reviewed and approved, the project maintainers will merge your changes into the main repository. Your changes will then be available to all users of the Eco-Exchange project.

Guidelines

Here are some guidelines for contributing to the Eco-Exchange project:

  • Please follow the coding style guidelines in the project's README file.
  • Please test your changes before submitting them.
  • Please add unit tests for your changes.
  • Please document your changes.
  • Please be respectful of the project maintainers and other contributors.
