The information in the article about_Line_Editing is correct for the default configuration on Windows, but not very helpful on non-Windows platforms; on Linux PSReadline's EditMode defaults to Emacs (Set-PsReadlineOption -EditMode Emacs), which behaves differently than the article documents, but isn't called out at all in the article. That is documented on another page, but it was confusing trying to figure out why the default behavior was different, and the about_Line_Editing article wasn't very helpful for that, since it contained information that by default didn't apply.

Could the about_Line_Editing article call this out somehow? I don't know if it would make sense to document all three EditMode options there, but it makes me sad that it's by default wrong on Linux.
