DashClip Delivery is available under two licensing options:
- GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPL-3.0) - Free for qualifying use cases
- Commercial License - For proprietary and commercial use
You need a Commercial License if you want to:
- ❌ Use DashClip Delivery in a commercial SaaS offering
- ❌ Integrate it into a closed-source commercial product
- ❌ Offer it as part of a paid service without open-sourcing your modifications
- ❌ Modify the software without publishing your changes under AGPL-3.0
- ❌ Remove or modify the attribution and license notices
You can use the free AGPL-3.0 license if you:
- ✅ Run DashClip Delivery for personal, non-commercial purposes
- ✅ Use it for educational or research purposes
- ✅ Integrate it into another AGPL-3.0 licensed project
- ✅ Are willing to publish all modifications under AGPL-3.0
- ✅ Provide access to the complete source code to all users of your service
A Commercial License includes:
✅ No copyleft obligations - Keep your modifications private
✅ Proprietary use allowed - Integrate into closed-source products
✅ Priority support - Direct technical assistance
✅ Legal protection - Warranty and indemnification options
✅ Custom modifications - Paid development services available
✅ White-labeling - Use under your own brand
Commercial licensing is available on a case-by-case basis depending on:
- Number of users/channels
