Zoom view shows black squares of select area tool #42

As seen in this video, the zoom view also shows the black squares of the select area tool, so that it's not possible to see what lies behind them.

So this is a design bug, those black squares are the "handles". I'll try to make it so the zoom view does not show the handle.

For now though you can use "Alt + Click on '-' button in palette" to shrink the handles. Also hotkey of "Alt + -" will do same.

Thanks! I've removed those handles with the alt key shortcut.

What are your thoughts, should I show the handles in the zoom view or is it better to not show them? I was using them as guides when I make screenshots so I'm torn between what to do.

Definitely "not show them", since it's obvious that this window can be easily manipulated at it's borders, like every other window in the "computer world".
