We used Powerman and Conman on the head node in the SI but didn't use anything to apply a configuration, e.g. from SMD (we used a separate Ansible inventory). This looks like something the configurator could handle, which would make this related to https://github.com/OpenCHAMI/supercomputer-institute/issues/3. Perhaps this could be merged into that issue?

In any case, I'm going to remove this from the Supercomputer Institute project and add it to the general roadmap.

Actually, the issue I mentioned in my comment above mentions Powerman and Conman so I think we can close this issue.
