Determining the status of individual resources requires read access to the resource registry or other sources of information. If the authenticated user executing counter does not have read permission for the resource an exception will occur and the counting process will terminate with an error. A flag should be added to the CLI options that indicate all read permission errors should be ignored, along with the appropriate handling of such exceptions during processing.
