Hello,
I have to open a pre-existing XLS, update some sheet and write it back (a copy of) [at this stage I only load the file and try to return it as it is]
$temp_file = tempnam(sys_get_temp_dir(), ''); $spreadSheet = $this->spreadSheetService->loadSpreadSheet('/bulk_template/community_bulk_upload_members_template.xls'); $writer = IOFactory::createWriter($spreadSheet, 'Xls'); $writer->save($temp_file);
I receive this error
Argument 1 passed to PhpOffice\\PhpSpreadsheet\\Writer\\Xls::writeSummaryProp() must be of the type string, null given
Any idea what is wrong?

The source XLS has macro and VBA, maybe it is due to the limitation https://phpspreadsheet.readthedocs.io/en/latest/references/features-cross-reference/

I have changed from xls to xlsm and it works
