Feature Request: BOM Export (CSV/JSON) with Availability & Cost Estimation

1. BOM Export with Quantities and Availability Analysis

It would be extremely useful to have the ability to export the full BOM of a project (including quantities) to standard formats such as JSON and CSV.
Expected functionality:

• Export complete BOM with:
  • Component name
  • Quantity per board
  • Total quantity (based on number of boards)
  • Storage location
  • Optional: unit price
• Ability to specify the number of boards to build
• Automatic calculation of:
  • Required quantities
  • Available stock
• Missing components (shortages)

Benefits:

• Enables quick validation of BOM completeness
• Allows external processing (e.g., Excel, scripts, ERP systems)
• Simplifies purchasing decisions and stock verification

2. Automatic BOM Cost Estimation

A second, more advanced but highly impactful feature would be automatic cost calculation for a given project.
Concept:

• Each component in Part-DB already supports price tiers (quantity-based pricing)
• Each BOM entry references a specific component and supplier
• When building a given number of boards:
  • Multiply number of boards × component usage per board
  • Determine total required quantity
  • Select the appropriate price tier for that quantity
  • Calculate total cost per component
  • Aggregate results into a summary table

Expected output:

• Table with:
  • Component
  • Quantity required
  • Unit price (based on tier)
  • Total cost
• Total BOM cost

3. Optional Extensions (Future Enhancements)

To make this feature even more practical for production estimation:

• Add optional cost factors:
  • Assembly labor cost
  • Picking/handling time
  • Energy consumption
• Separate reporting for:
  • THT components (e.g., manual soldering effort)
  • SMD components

Why This Matters
These features would transform Part-DB from a storage/inventory tool into a practical production planning and cost estimation system, enabling:

• Fast and realistic PCB cost estimation
• Better purchasing decisions
• Improved workflow integration with manufacturing processes

Current Limitation
At the moment, there is no straightforward way to:

• Export a usable BOM with quantities
• Analyze stock shortages automatically
• Estimate the cost of a PCB build directly inside Part-DB
