But the localization dropped the <script> block importing the SimpleToc construct, so it fails to render with an error.

(The equivalent DE localization didn't make the same mistake.)

Of course the true fix will ultimately be to the process for localizing and building, currently in PauseAI/pauseai-website/paraglide. Many options for reducing likelihood, better validation, better deploy behavior in presence of a bad localized page, etc.

But putting the issue here as a concrete illustration.

I patched the translation manually for now to check for other problems. Depending on urgency and worflow, I think this is something we would do temporarily even once localization was in production.

So... how do I get the paraglide branch of pauseai-website to build and deploy?

I'm not seeing controls at https://app.netlify.com/sites/pauseai/deploys/

(I do see Joep's deploy that saw the failure, and a subsequent attempt apparently by Nils to deploy, which fails because he didn't have access to the new paraglide cache repos.)

Not done by me, but the app currently uses a personal access token for my account that can only be granted permission for repos I own, would need to be changed to a PauseAI one

I think we sorted out the token question. In Meet, Joep drove some more fixes. A bit of shouting when prompting Llama, but also fFor now, we are allowing certain kinds of problems through (e.g. if a link is bust because the URL was translated, then validation now warns rather than errors, so the page is still pubished and build proceeds.)

Joep is keen to deploy asap and let problems and pain drive solutions and action - slightly broken l10n is net positive.

I agree, but would love to get things a little more factored to help us track what is and isn't working / not risk bringing down the whole site during these early experimental days,
