Updater Automatically Aborting Updates

Description of bug

Whenever I attempt to update my mods, the process is automatically aborted. After troubleshooting, this seems to be related to a completely random set of mods that abort the process for the entire rest of the pack. Some mods seem to have no issues, others will randomly grant a pop-up saying "One of the tasks failed!" before giving me a "The mod updater was aborted!" message.

The first comes before the second, and after clicking the second message you are taken back to the regular mod page.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open mod loader.
2. Select all mods with ctrl + a (or find an affected mod, which will almost certainly be random, and try to update that).
3. Click "Check for updates."
4. The entire process should be aborted within seconds.

Suspected cause

Might be corruption of data? I am completely lost. I've done nothing to corrupt the data and my computer is on a fresh restart.

I thought it could be related to the mod provider having an outage, but I've used both CurseForge and Modrinth and it doesn't fix the issue. Both of them are also online with no issues, so I'm clueless.

Worth noting that I did find a PollyMC report of this bug, here. But I haven't found any issue like this on PoLyMC's tracker, so I made this thread anyways.

You didn't provide a log, but I was easily able to reproduce the issue myself. In my case it's an issue of Cloudflare blocking my access to Modrinth, it could also be the same in your case. Could you please provide the PolyMC log file immediately after causing this issue without reopening the launcher (%appdata%\PolyMC\PolyMC-0.log)

Okay, that's the same issue I encountered. I'll check this more in-depth when I have time (10-15 days maybe).

Odd, it doesn't seem to be happening to me either. Maybe someone saw this and fixed it?

I'm going to leave this issue open just in case it crops up again, since it seems to be random. Good thing it went away though, whatever caused it...
