Documentation: deprecated in favour of?

Just thought I'd suggest updating the readme to indicate what should be used instead of iron-localstorage, now that it is deprecated...

I'm guessing app-storage and co? I found app-storage eventually, but I found iron-localstorage right away and it would have saved time to have a reference pointing me in the right direction.

I agree completely. If something is being deprecated, at least clearly state if it is being dropped entirely or what the component is that will be superseding it. Make life as easy as possible for people :)

It's a reference example to another API. From the sounds of it the Polymer Dev team decided there was not a way to design a localStorage element with a nice fit for most use cases so the fallback is "write your own". I guess that's alright with me, I was looking here just to see if there was a best practice around using localStorage with Polymer.
