In light of recent U.S. sanctions, it may be a good idea not to link new users to the website. I'm pretty sure that domain is down now anyways.

It's down for me:

Personal opinion: that is a genuine use case for privacy.

I much prefer sanctioning US and forking the world.

Fair. It would be worth updating the website to a working one and adding a warning for US-based users at least.
